He is approachable and at least he takes care of students. Exam is much easier than summer class (final avg was around 70%). His teaching style is very depending but he tries to give a lot of examples. I would choose him again.

Not the best lecturer, but definitely one of the better ones. At least he tries to teach. He really cares about the students. Will give extensions for every single assignment. Understand the concepts to score well.

Nice guy, but not the greatest teacher. A third of his final exam was based on the last chapter of the book, which was only covered in a makeup class where only a few people went due to last minute scheduling and was never in any tutorials or assignment. He's better than other people teaching this course and better than some Concordia profs

Comment:
Decent teacher, tough assignments, easy tests, would definitely recommend taking. He does have a stutter, and the material is a bit dull, but compared to many other teachers in computer science, he actually knows how to teach. I am a B+ student, and i got an A in his class.

Prof. Goswami teaches a large amount of material. His lectures rely heavily on the textbook slides and sometimes he glosses over things. When he turns to the board for a slightly longer span, class becomes much more engaging. Reading the textbook is important. The assignments are helpful in understanding the material. Overall I enjoyed the course.

Never had to worry about any assignment's deadline because he always postpone it. The course is boring because he uses the powerpoints from the book. Material is hard so try to not skip class or at least go to every tutorial.

Had him for both OS and Parallelism & really like him. His class is well structured and he's very respected by his TAs. who do a very good job too. The course is difficult, and require maturity. Slides won't have all the information, you need to dig in your notes and on the book. Assignments are tough, especially for parallelism. Learnt a lot.

He speaks with a lisp and is hard to understand. He will get stuck in mid word very often, but you'll get used to it after a few weeks. Final exam wasn't hard. In general not a good teacher. Doesn't post course notes and his lectures are long and excruciatingly dull. Wouldn't want to take any more courses with him.

He is a smart person but is extremly unclear. Listen closely now, he expects you to answer questions a certain way on his tests BUT he wont specify that, but he will say in the end you should know that THIS is how you answer it. He talks straight from book/slides; and this is the worst part. IF you mess up any question you will get a 0 for that
