Her teacher style appeared to be good in the beginning and then I quickly noticed that she does not care about student success at all. Someone asked for extra credit and she freaked out saying we didn't deserve extra credit. She says to contact her but never answers. She just teachers way to fast and is unclear

Dr. T is amazing in every way. She wants to not only help you in her class, but with your future, too. She explains everything thoroughly and records herself so you can watch the class on youtube later if you need to review. She is always there for you and is ALWAYS willing to help. She even got us pizza once! She's such a smart and great woman!

Professor Thomas is by far one of the top 3 professors at MSU. She wants to help her students not just in her class but with whatever they need guidance in. She makes herself overly available for her students, and is always willing to help. If you're having trouble or even had to read that book is because they never bother too see her videos.

You can tell that Dr. T really cares about how her students are doing both inside her class and in general. She puts videos of her lectures online which is great for reviewing. One of my favorite professors at MSU and would definitely take again!

Professor Thomas is the most incredible person I've come in contact with at MSU. I struggled so much in this class and she went above and beyond to help me understand. I'm taking her again next semester.. Work hard and you'll do well :)

Dr.Thomas is the most amazing professor I've even encountered. The amount of compassion she has for EVERY student in the classroom is amazing. if you have ANY chance to take ANY class with her… TAKE IT! I had her for Calc II and after all the horor stories I'd heard about how terrible calc II was, I couldn't have imagined having an enjoyable year.

took her twice. got a B+ calcII. shes busy and favors some but truly wants ALL her students to do well. I struggled on the webassigns which is the reason I didn't do better. She was super busy at first but after she devoted more time to class we really learned. Overall great prof, thats why I took her twice. "MASTERY IS PAIN" perpare to work!

Favors girls. Told students to drop within the first 2 weeks of class. I got a decent grade in her class but not because she teaches well. she has too much on her plate and we literally learned only 3 sections(not chapters) in the whole book. Not recommended

This class and prof. have been a disappointment. We were stuck on 3 pages in the textbook for almost a month. She gave high hopes to everyone but at the end could not deliver. Her words were rain drops in a storm; empty promises but no results. If your not within her "favorite" students, good luck with her helping you out. I will not take her again

she really does favor people. nice lady. was very rude at times. was very unhelpful to her upper classes. try to get on her good side or she will be very unhelpful to you. She changed a lot--its such a shame too because she used to be such a sweet lady

The person who gave low ratings is very ill informed and childish. The fact that they failed is that they did not study and they blamed it on the teacher. This professor goes out of her way to help her students by any means possible while balancing a very busy life. Not many people can do it but as students we are extremely lucky to have her.

Wanted to rate before my final grade to not effect my judgement. Prof. Thomas goes out of her way to help students. Were like her children. Had 0 interest or skill prior to course. Now I want to know more. Wish she taught all my math. Steep learning curve for me for Calc2. But you have to do math to get math. She makes me WANT to practice it.
