I thought Dr. Stoffer was very clear and precise. He is obviously very experienced and knows a lot. He is so relatable and I felt comfortable asking him anything. His tests are short and you can finish in a half hour if you know the material. The class is a lot of memorization but I feel like I know more than any other bio major. Take him!

he was such a great help outside of class, although I would not recommend using e-mail to do that. I really learned a lot because all of his lectures are crystal clear on what he wants you to know.

Dr. Stoffer is a very intelligent professor and he does a great job of relaying the material to students. Also, the material learned was very interesting. He is probably my favorite professor.

I love dr. stoffer. A lot of students font like him bc lecture is pretty boring, you just take notes. but he has some cool stories and in lab he is extremely helpful. you can tell he knows what he is doing and i am never afraid to ask him anything.

If you take him plan on writing notes the entire time and rarely getting a chance to sit and listen. During lab he is a lot more fun. He is willing to help when you need it, but won't budge on a grade once he has given it back to you. I have taken him twice and enjoyed the higher level class much more than my freshman class. Nice guy though.

Lots and lots of notes, 3 tests....about 10 pages of studying for each test. Anal about spelling, caps, etc...expects too much out of class. Don't recommend, and I'm a biology major :(

if you take zoology you cant avoid him. his lectures are boring, he talks monotone, lots of notes! anal about spelling and caps for species names. when you study for tests your studying like 30 pages of scribble, so good luck. you never get out of class early if he has a minute he'll use it.

Nice guy, but be prepared for long boring classes copying notes straight from the overhead, everyday. It's all memorization and I don't remember any of it now...
