very fun and quirky. She makes class interesting. Make sure you attend class and participate and study for the tests! She is a tough grader, and is very picky about wording so be prepared but overall she's a great lady.

Teresa is probably the most approachable of all of my professors this semester. She is willing to answer any question about an assignment, no matter how dumb it sounds. There is also an extra credit assignment for each of the 10 chapters that we read throughout the year, and I would recommend taking advantage of that, because she is a tough grader.

Dr. Durbin was an excellent professor for me! I was kinda interested in the class but enjoyed the films and videos we watched. The reading was a lot but very beneficial. Most of the notes you need for her exams she will highlight in class & had a review session before final. YOU NEED TO BE SPECIFIC IN PAPERS AND YOU WILL BE FINE! Work to get the A+

This was the toughest class I have taken so far. Would work hours on papers and get C's at best. Final was ridiculous. Everyone hated her. She grades hard for no reason on a core class. Only people who got A's were theatre majors.

I've had her for American Musical Theatre and Script Analysis. She is a very tough grader and you will write a LOT. If you are a theatre major, take Script with her because it's a good introduction to the rest of the theatre history classes you will have to take with her. If you are not a theatre major, stay as far away from her classes as you can.

Dr. Durbin-Ames is the best professor ever, hands down. She is insanely tough! I recommend her classes only if you are interested in theatre, reading plays, or in-depth analysis. She is incredibility detailed on grading but willing to work with you on personal level. Teresa-classes are not an easy A. SHES NOT JUST MY TEACHER SHES MY ADVISOR TOO!

Dr. Durbin's Musical Theatre class was very good. Three projects, several short (2 pp.) papers, and a test were required. A bit slow in getting back papers. Very enjoyable overall, but you will have to work for your grade in this class!

Take this class if you want your GPA to plummet drastically. Or if you like torture. She grades harder than all of the English teachers I've ever had. I was interested in this class, until I took it. I hope she gets fired because she's the worst professor I've EVER encountered. Worst. Teacher. EVER.

She will pile you down with busy work. Assignments that should be very simply graded she makes very complex. She is in love with the systems for teaching. She cares about her students, but she doesn't mind make you do a quantity of mindless menial assignments.
