This professor deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his diligence and curiosity for his students. A phenomenal educator, not to be trifled with. A strong and caring man that wishes for success for his students. Cheat, you deserve a F, but if you're vigilant with essays and tests, you will succeed as in everything else in life. Carpe diem.

Maffei is a good man. He cares if you pass or not and like to be positive. All you have to do is a midterm, an essay and a final. He gives a study guide and as long as you copy down what he writes on the board you should do fine studying.

AWESOME professor. I wrote the worst most unorganized research paper and i flip to the back to see his comment "okay, A" he's funny and keeps you engaged in the class. his handwriting isnt all that but who cares at least im not falling asleep! and on top of that- reading assignments are EXTRA light!

WHAT A WAIST OF MY TUITION. I HAD TO TAKE THE CLASS OVER IN THE SUMMER AT MONTCLAIR WITH A BETTER TEACHER. MAFFEI WOULD TELL US THE BEGINNING OF THE SEMESTER THAT HE WASN'T AN ENGLISH TEACHER AND HE WASN'T GOING TO GO CRAZY WITH OUR PAPERS..YEAR RIGHT!
