Don and the rest of the staff are great! They group teach the class, so you'll really have 3 professors. There is a lot of busy work in this class, and many of the papers are similar, but none of it is difficult. It really helps you determine if teaching is what you want to do. In-class group quizzes and online quizzes are easy. No exam.

Great teacher! If you are undecided on becoming a teacher this class is the first step. Only negative thing I have to say about this class is that there is a LOT of busy work. Kind of like high school.

Professor Don Volz is very nice. He understands if anything is going on that prevents you from turning something in on time. A lot of busy work in this class. Way too many points to calculate. I feel that I didn't learn much because I was just trying to get everything down and not understand it.

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CLASS EVER!!! Don, Ruth, Jan, and Xiaotian are extremely nice and the course they have developed is amazing! I loved having TLT groups and I loved having guest speakers every other day! Not sure if you want to become a teacher? TAKE THIS COURSE

Don is such a nice guy, the he teaches with like 4 other people is so easy, there is a lot of busy work but its easy. If you done happen to finish a paper on time you always a grace period of like a week to get it in for full credit. Don's tight the class is kinda cool. only thing that sucks is that you have to go to class, its 7 points a day

By far the best and nicest out of the three co-teachers for this class. Don will always listen to you and tries to get to know all of his students. You really get the impression that he cares about his students. Always has a smile on his face and will talk to you about anything.

I loved Don and his daffy duck polo shirt! He made EDU fun when the guest speakers were boring. I wish he could teach the class, just as himself! For EDU, just show up you get 8 points for attendance each day and do the work, the online quizzes you get 2 chances and an hour each to do them...just skim for the answers..you got more then enough time

I loved Don, Ruth, and Jane. Don was super funny - he was my favorite. The class is pretty simple, as long as you attend class and do the work. Having been a transfer student, I already knew a lot about teaching and the college of ed; however, EDU 107 helped me think about different opportunities I can do with teaching.

I really don't know how anyone could say they don't like Don. He's so nice and even in a class with over 100 students he walks through the asiles before class starts just chatting with random students. There are 2 other teachers in this class and I always love when Don gets to talk to us because he never makes you feel stupid for asking a question.

the assignments don't make much sense but they don't really read them so it doesn't really matter. go to class every day, and turn in every assignment and you'll get one hundred percent. but seriously this class will make you want to die its so boring.

CUTEST GUY EVER! I love Don. He is by far the best teacher I have ever had. It was a lecture hall and he still got to know everyone and looked so cute while doing it. I love him, I wish I could hang out with him everyday.
