I am a Econ major and I got an A- in both ECON 201 and Gecon 200, and I'm failing this class. He only does problems in class and expects you to read and completely understand whats in the book. Tests are tricky. You have to teach yourself the concepts and fully understand them because he won't teach them in class.

Corbin is the best! Really really sweet and amusing man. He takes the time to get to know all of his students and is really enthusiastic about what he teaches. I've taken two classes with him and both were pretty easy and definitely interesting. The best french teacher for sure!

CORBIN IS THE BEST. I've had him for 2 classes now and I'm signing up for another. he's super nice and makes the class really easy and fun. I actually think he's a great lit teacher! He tests on specific quotes and information from the books but thats typical in a lit class. Just do the reading and its easy. He loves his students too!

CUTEST AND NICEST MAN. really cares about his class, and makes class so fun, i loved to go. he gets everyone involved by calling on people randomly but it really makes you learn. tests are hard but you walk out knowing what you learned esp becasue he goes over everything. i want him to be my grandpa love him! def def def take any class with him !

I love Corbin and he's a good French teacher but this was a lit. course and he's not a lit. professor. Tests were ridiculously hard and on really random information. Quizzes on readings focused on tiny details instead of the big picture. Take him for French grammar, not literature.

Prof Corbin is absolutely AMAZING! He loves what he teaches, he tries really hard to get everyone involved, plus he's really funny. Quiz everyday, no biggie, and the most random information shows up on the tests, so pay attention to biographies, but overall he's awesome, take him as much as possible!

dr corbin is the best!! definitely one of the nicest teachers i've had, and he keeps class interesting and fun. you have to memorize a lot of vocab, but as long as you study the vocab quizzes are easy A's that will help your grade. he puts you on the spot in class a lot which could stress out some people though

dont get me wrong, dr. corbin is funny and keeps the class fairly interesting w/ his stories, but to me i didnt feel much improvement by the end of the class. all we really did was memorize vocab (we never used it so you forget most of it), learn french 3 grammar, and use a textbook text that was ALL pictures!! easy class w/ disappointing results..

Intelligent, coherent, makes class fun, has a sense of humor and is a real human being. However, you MUST do all readings (daily quizzes, drops the lowest few). And study a LOT for tests (they are challenging, but doable). Prompt in returning tests, offers extra credit ops, organized. Take him!
