Amazing prof! Would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to take an archaeology course! His lectures are very interesting and he draws upon his own experiences a lot! Doesn't give many notes, but his lectures make you want to attend class anyways!

very nice man but on exams multiple choice was really hard you would need to go to class since he has no slides and nothing online and he does not put anything on his tests on stuff from the textbook. I had the textbook memorized for the final and maybe only one or two things from it were on it.

He is a lovely man! You feel like he might die in front of the class always clearing his throat but if don't worry he's there for you if you need him. The only thing is you need to READ the textbook, and if you do you are golden! :) Loves him as a professor.

I loved this man. He was a wonderful prof. I found it wasn't necessary to attend the lectures but I went to every one anyway because he was so interesting! He really knows his stuff! And he was so adorable with his sweet little accent! I loved his class!

Loved this prof! I guess if you are religious in anyway you would resent his views, but he does not expect everyone to see things his way. He is very funny and lectures are enjoyable since he is a real archeologist and shows slides from his travels, tests a little tricky and there's LOTS of material to know such as exact dates.

i loved him.. i thought he was very interesting and had a lot of good opinions. i didn't feel like he was trying to push them on me, but i felt that i was shown all views of it. his courses require you do work, and he doesn't baby you. but if you read the chapters,you should fine, as he test only on chapters! no need to take many notes! loved him!!

He is a brillant man and he really knows what he talks about. He makes you look at life in a way you never did before. His tests are a little tricky, but he is very clear about what he expects from his students. He is very witty and he makes physical anthropology fun. I have changed my major to Anthropology because he made it so interesting.

Why is this man still teaching?!? He's forgetful and disorganized. Has forgotten about exams SEVERAL times!! He's arrogant, pompous and unclear. He IS very intelligent, but I think it's time that he retired. Save us all alot of grief. Advoid him if you can, endure him if you can't.
