This was my very first English course in university. At first he can be very intimidating, but I have never learned as much as I have in his class. He is a wonderfully brilliant man, my favourite prof so far, and Western will miss him since he's now retired.

My first ever class at UWO was with Dr. Hair, and man, was it ever a wakeup call. Tough course, but Dr. Hair is an utterly brilliant man. Amazingly, he remembered my name for the next four years despite the fact that I said about two things that whole semester! Big thumbs up to Dr. Hair.

I'm now in third year and this is still the best course I've ever taken. Hair rocks the Socratic method -- and you do the readings, or else you get humiliated. Very effective.
