Comment:

Great teacher, very nice and lenient on assignments. She helped me during her office hours and gives great feedback. There are a lot of workbook pages to do each chapter, but they aren't too hard, just kind of long. The class isn't hard if you do the work. If you don't show up for class, your going to miss a lot of stuff since there is no textbook.

Donna is awesome!!!!! She is always prepared and really puts a lot of effort into making sure her students learn German well. I've taken French and Spanish at MHC, but if I'd known that German was so much fun and that a great professor like Donna was teaching it, I would have taken it in my first year and maybe even majored.

Comment:

Donna is one of my favourite professors at Mount Holyoke. She's extremely dedicated, funny, patient and kind. She explains grammar rules very clearly, and comes up with fun and effective tricks to help you remember them. You won't rely on textbooks that cost a fortune on her class, since she builds her own websites for every course.

Donna is arguably the best professor I've had to date. She makes learning German a fun and easy experience. She expects a lot from you, but is always very kind and willing to assist you in whatever you may need. The videos and songs she uses in class are hysterical. You need a sense of humor to enjoy her classes. And go to her office hours!
