He was an amazing teacher. I took both 127 & 242 with him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone taking a math class. Work hard; the work you put in, is the grade you get out of it. He explains the concepts very well, esp. in 242, where the book gets hard to understand. Do-Nows, do the do-nows! All in all, both classes were exceptional!

Enjoyed class with Mr. Monteath. Test questions come directly from "do now" class work and assigned homework. So do the homework, and study your do now's and you should do fine. Available to help before class. I would take him again.

Mr. Monteath is a great tracher. Be prepared to learn, study and do your homework. The more you put into his class, the more you will get out of it. He is a great teacher but do not mistake his kindness for weakness. He has a true passion for math and wants to pass that onto to you. Its your choice to put in the work, or just get by!

It is instructors such as Mr. Monteath, who structure the educational experience so knowledge can be gained in standard ways (participation, a quiz each class, emphasis on organization) as the material is covered that allow for the greatest successes as a student. Promoting the "you get out of it what you put into it" mantra. Excellent teacher!!

This teacher is not recommended.If you want a very difficult teacher who does not give you any feedback on your work, does no practice prior to extremely difficult tests, then choose this guy. If you want to learn from this guy, study every single thing he writes down..x50. If you do not show that you know the content 150%, you will get a bad grade

Great teacher. Shows more than one technique which I enjoyed because each student may connect differently. He was available before class or after for additional help if needed. He wants you to succeed but you have to put in some effort. Would definately recommend. I wish he was teaching Math 123!

I had a very positive experience with this particular math class. The class itself wasn't easy, but the teacher was more than willing to take time before class and help me with concepts that were completely foreign to me. Very good teacher, learned a lot by the end of the semester.

No,Does not help and just tells you to go to the math lab. tells students if they can,t do thing then why are they in the class. References to high school to much. Degrates people without even knowing. I do not recamend and do not take. He is not very clear or helps. This is comming from and unbias stand point. I had never met him tell math 42.

Not a very good teacher. So not take him if you do not already know Math 27. He pretty much does not care and tells you that you should drop if your not catching on. this was a summer class, but he should be more interested in his students succeeding. He seems not interested.
