Comment:
Dr. Sharan does not do the best job teaching the material, but his grading scheme is clear and the course is an easy A. Read through textbook material, do your assignments and labs, and you'll be good to go

Doesn't really teach the material. Assignments, labs, and notes have been the same since 2009 (they are all dated for 2009). Easy to do well in the class but test and assignment questions seem like they are randomly selected. Gives everyone an extra 10% on the midterm as well. The class is a joke.

Unfortunately, this is the absolute worst professor I have ever had in my 3 years. You're completely on your own, zero input. Classes are pointless because he literally reads from the slideshow. Labs are disorganized and assignments come straight from the internet. Midterm was OK, but the final was a complete disaster. Have fun.

Comment:
- Lectures consist of reading formulas straight out of text (zero teacher input). - This book is very old and quite advanced, and cannot legally be purchased in Canada. Tests are open-book. - Lectures ended about 23 of the way through term. - There is no evaluation on anything relevant to subject matter until end-of-term project and final exam.

WORST PROFESSOR AT MUN. Do not bother going to the class. Most disorganized and boring lecture ever. As long as you write in "12 pt font" you will get at least a B, you will get marks even if your answer is completely wrong! He does not emphasize any important points, and the questions he chooses for midterms are random. Don't bother caring.

You will learn nothing, but receive a good mark. His tests are fill in the blanks and short answers - but he gives you marks even when the answers are completely wrong. Attending class is useless, its a nice slack course so you can worry about some of the harder term 3 courses. Don't stress over it no matter how little you think you know.

Lectures are useless. All he does is read through his slides and goes over examples already completed, never works them out his self. I went to about every second class up until the mid term and haven't gone since. If you don't go to class he'll leave your assignment in the classroom instead of taking it back to his office. Useless prof. for engr.
