He could be smart but he definitely dont know to teach the second problem is his accent which is pretty hard to understand sometime he dont even knew what he is teaching and dont care about the students will take marks down for non significant reasons overall he is not meant to be a professor.

Absolute shambles. Makes up all examples on the spot. Doesnt tell you whats going to be on the test. Grades things inconsistently (same assignment was submitted by 2 of my friends & they both got marked 15% differently. Makes his tests ridiculously hard, and words them so that its hard to tell what he even wanta answered. Avoid at all costs.

Nice and intelligent prof, but EXTREMELY bad at teaching material and half of the time you cannot make his accent out. If you can learn the material on your own, his marking scheme will ensure that you have a good mark. Still wouldn't take another class from him though.

Edmund is an okay guy. His lectures aren't easy to follow, with his accent and how fast-paced they are. He's a fair grader, and your final grade is not as dependant on tests, but his tests are very hard, and you really have to work at it yourself to understand this course. He's not that great at explaining things in lecture.

If you find yourself in his course, I hope you have some higher power watching over you. Very lecture heavy, hard to understand with his accent, and does not do math problems in the class, it is all theory but all the work is equations and problems. I would recommend take a different math. You'll learn as much on your own as in his class.

I wish I focused on this class more because it's not as hard as it seems, just takes practice. If you practice a few questions daily, you will probably do well. Also, Edmund is a really nice professor, he ALWAYS helped me out a lot on all three exams. He also does everything he can to make sure his students get the best possible mark.

He is a very nice man and is willing to help whenever you ask, however his lectures are fast paced and very hard to follow. He introduces new material before we even really understand the previous chapter. I don't feel confident in the class and am pretty much learning solely from reading my textbook.

Very nice man. His accent makes it a little hard to understand. You learn the most from going over your notes after class and doing practice questions from the book. He scales the tests which is a BIG help especially during the final exam (which is crazy hard). If you study hard and do all of the assignments you will get a good mark in his class.

Nice prof and very helpfull, but his teaching style is HORRIBLE! Teaching math off a powerpoint just does not work.Very hard to make out what he is trying to say due to his accent.Tests are generally easy with studying.Alot of individual self learning is required because the lectures are so bad. I would take stats with somebody else if possible!

Edmund knows his subject well enough - for himself. His teaching style is incredibly weak where he simply reads from his own PowerPoint slides... Hard to understand and more so if he uses his 'microphone' which cuts in and out on a consistent basis. If you have no choice but to take this class then be sure to teach yourself from the textbook.

This guy is amazing!Whenever I was confused I went to his office for help and he often went beyond answering questions and started doing the assignment for me!)His marking curve is the best: the highest mark in the class automatically becames 100% and everyone else's mark increases accordingly.
