Wonderful woman. She loves the material so much and is clearly an inspired speaker. She made these classes so interesting for me and even took a special interest in my writing and helped me to get published in an academic journal! She loves when students come to her office hours both for help and just to talk.

Amazing. I went in unsure how to approach her but her personality is very nice. She is there to help ONLY if you ask for it. So don't be shy! Participate in the discussions, and you will def get a lot out of class. Quirky and funny! BTW she brings in donuts randomly for the class ;).

Dr. Gregory is a great prof. She prefers Socratic discussions to structured lectures, so being prepared for class is a must. However, she is very helpful, always willing to meet with students outside of class, and adjusts deadlines if other classes start to conflict (esp. around midterms and finals). I loved taking her class, strongly recommended!

I came into her class excited to read the epics, and it honestly was a major letdown. Her lectures forewent main themes to focus on minute and unimportant details, people slept regularly, quizzes asked obscure questions, and I couldn't make sense of all the names, events, and details. She just didn't tie it all together for me.

Dr Gregory can treach anything- i have had her for twentieth century, romantic, and the novel (lit trad iv.) She occasionally says wacky funny things, gives really helpful grad school advice, and best of all, teaches each author on his own terms, rather than superimposing her own ideas.
