Professor is great at this topic. if you are not interested into Anthro, it will be a bit hard for you. one research paper, 4 tests (will drop the lowest), few EC. Mostly she lectures in class. As long as you print out the study guides and follow along with her lecture, you will pass with a good grade.

She is a very funny professor and always cracks jokes during her lectures. Her lectures are a little hard to follow but she posts everything online and always answers questions. Very nice and approachable lady. 3 tests all online and 1 final that is optional. Typical lecture, attendance is not mandatory and she often lets class out early :)

3 exams and a final. Theyre all online. Class is not mandotory but do show up when you have case studies since theyre worth part of your grade. Study guides are filled with heavy information that we normally dont even cover in class. But its online so its not so bad. Shes easier than the prof I had previously since Im retaking this class

Great professor overall! Lectures can be interesting if you have a real passion for the subject. Otherwise, it is easy to space out. Textbook is good to have. Attendance is mandatory at the beginning of the year since you have to do case studies. Towards, the end-it doesn't really matter. Tests are hard. One writing assignment.

Dr. Strasser is a joy. Her class was a big part of me changing my major to Anthropology. Attendance is not mandatory, but showing up and paying attention really helps on the tests (of which there are only 4, and only 3 count). Her lectures are unorganized, but easily decipherable if you look at the exam study guides. I recommend her class for sure.

Pretty easy teacher. Her study guides ARE BOMB DOT COM! Great professor in that regard. The exams are basically the study guides so if you do the study guide, you have all the answers to the exams. Forces you to study basically if you want a good grade. Exams are all online. Final is cumulative, online, and completely optional.

Great class, fairly easy. Even if you're not into the subject it's still pretty interesting. Textbook was only used for tests. 3 tests and a final, all online, and she drops the lowest test. Attendance isn't mandatory but definitely come when she has the class do cast studies. She's very passionate about anthropology.

Dr. Strasser is great. I had no interest in anthropology, but she made the class interesting. The class is all lecture, but it's not boring. There are surveys which are credit/no credit as well as case studies, one writing assignment and 3 exams. Exams are online. She's very nice and approachable. Very organized as well. ANTH

Attendance isn't mandatory but it will help ALOT if you do go to class and do the study guide as she is going over the material. I wished I had done that instead of trying to complete 8 page study guide before the test because the test is right from the study guides.

Easy prof. This was a super easy class.Attendance wasn't mandatory, at times only about a fourth of the 75 students came to class. The book was really only needed for the study guide. Some in class worksheets.Exams were online & you don't go to class on exam days. Some exam questions were from lecture but they were never a big portion of the test.

Strasser is a nice teacher. The first 2 weeks of class, attendance is mandatory, but after that it?s optional. There are 3 online tests and a final, but only your 3 best tests count towards your grade. Lectures were clear and slides came directly out of the coloring book. Great class for non-science majors.

She's alright. The class was easy because attendance was not mandatory. She provides study guides prior to the exams. There are 4 exams but she only count 3 for the final grade. Also some papers but its easy. If you dont plan to attend class refer to the book when studying, because the answers are in the book.

Strasser is awesome! Her lectures can be a little hard to follow (moves from topic-to-topic real quick), but she will clarify anything you ask and will ALWAYS answer e-mails which is so great! Loved, loved this class. Extra credit is available, and I loved having an excuse to go to the zoo for a report. She is down to earth and really nice too.

Funny professor, good, interesting lectures. She includes case studies that make it more fun and her lectures have little clips that illustrate her point. All tests are online and she only counts the three highest scores out of four. No busy work, and she offers generous extra credit.

I took her for a lab and am NOT an anthro major. WAY too much work for a one unit course. The tests are really hard. Please lighten up the load for future students! It's a ONE UNIT COURSE!

Strasser is nice and lectures straight forward. tests can be very difficult, but her study guides are practically the test. she thinks she grades easy but looks for very specific things which makes it hard. she curves grades and gives extra points when she can. lectures straight from the book. tests are straight from book/lectures. she's flexible.
