Professor Wayne loves both his material and his students. His lectures are very carefully crafted and he has a knack for teaching. It is truly inspiring watching him repeat equations and derivations from memory while adding his own sense of humor. Take the class!

The best professor I have ever had. Every lecture was a treat that I looked forward to. Wayne made every concept easy to understand, and seem incredible through his explanations. I would have him teach every class for me if I could. If you can take him, please do. He truly is the best.

Comment:

Prof Wayne is the best professor in math department. He is very clear during the lecture, and helpful in the office hour. He gives relatively easy midterms, and a little tricky final. Quiz problem is mostly based on the lecture and homework. The only thing is that he goes a little bit fast during the lecture.

Wayne is a really nice person! He does physics-related maths in his field and this class is profoundly useful for any person taking engineering course. He is acute, clear and hilarious, very easy going. Test are moderately difficult, but you should get a decent grade if you really put effort in homework and reading textbook. A knowledgeable TA too.

A laid back easy course with a fantastic professor. There's no way not to like Wayne. He's just such a genuinely nice guy who is excellent at teaching and cares about being a good professor. The tests are extremely easy and closely resemble homework problems. If you're able to take a math class with him, consider yourself lucky.

Wayne was hilarious and always fun but his lectures would drag on (granted they were at 9 in the morning) and the class felt arbitrarily hard. Me and many others who had taken calculus in high school felt this way, but this itself was not Wayne's fault, and to an extent I'm glad it was his ship I boarded for the stormy voyage that was MA123.

Wayne was hands down my favorite professor this past semester. He is so passionate about calculus that he is willing to help students out as much as possible, whether it's clarification in lectures or office hours. He is a genuinely nice guy and his lectures were very interesting. He even cracks a few jokes here & there. Take his class if you can!
