His lectures were a little hard for me to follow. For tests, just make sure to do the homework and review problems because the tests are very similar. If you can do all the homework and review problems the tests should be pretty easy.

Comment:

He was clear and organised in his explanations. He cared about his students and made himself available outside of class. He wrote and spoke quickly but was clearly passionate and willing to explain concepts further and answer questions.

While he speaks and writes quickly during his lectures, he was really clear and I was able to stay focused. He's a really funny guy, and I would definitely recommend him.

He explains the concepts in a multitude of ways to cater to all the different ways people learn. His lectures are well structured; starting off with a general overview, theory, and applications, then works through an example problem or two on the board. He can talk a little fast but if you attend lecture and do the homework problems its an easy A.

Prof. Kaper has a unique lecture style based mostly on examples. He doesn't use any technological aid and his notes can be quite messy, so I wouldn't recommend his class to people who prefer a more structured environment. That being said, he is great at explaining tough concepts, and his homework is optional.

Honestly, not the most engaging of lecturers. Kind of monotone in voice and socially awkward. Heavy in lectures and includes many examples, but most derived from the textbook. Discussion quizzes are graded quite leniently and missing several classes will not hurt you at all so long as you keep up with the OPTIONAL homework.

Awesome professor. Thanks him a lot to heal my aypnia. I am able to sleep immediately. Felt really excited. I won't worry about sleeping until I take his class.

Professor Kaper is passionate about math and teaching. But I think he often fails to translate that into pleasurable class time. If you love a good lecture, don't expect to get one from him. I felt he couldn't hold class's attention, and confused people more than helped. good intentioned. he just can't help being confusing and prolix

everything is crunched together in 6weeks instead of 12 lectures & homework are extremely long His lectures are clear to follow in the first 30min but then his handwriting gets messy quick and starts writing in every single empty space on the board. Overall straightforward simple class you can keep up Swear he likes writing words more than numbers

this class covers more than a half semester course should; they try to fit as much of a full semester linear algebra course as possible. With that said, I found it pretty interesting.

kaper was a great professor for someone who has taken calculus before. he goes pretty fast but if you have taken calculus it won't be hard. if you haven't taken calculus, but can keep up with his pace, he is a very clear and concise teacher, he always explains his problems thoroughly

He was an extremely fair professor. EK102 is a half semester course, but we had many snow days this semester and he took that into consideration when it came to the final, which was 60% of the overall grade. Definitely was not an easy course, as 34 of a full semester of linear algebra course is crammed into half a semester.

I thought Kaper was the best of the calc teachers. He was very clear in lecture most of the time, though he did occasionally drift into a side story. Lecture was fairly straightforward and I felt prepared for tests. I went to office hours and he was very helpful there.

Tasso is the man! Very passionate about what he teaches and encourages students to come to him if they need help. The course is pretty hard but do the optional homework and you'll do very well on quizzes. Study hard for the tests.

pay attention in his lectures you will learn. I personally didn't like his teaching style.The class has been redesigned so that prof. cant individual help you on an exam thats not theirs(department test).The quizes are unreasonably hard, made by a another prof u never see.hw is online, you never use textbook. I dislike the class, not the subject
