I guess everyone's experience is different, but Prof Wheeler is the best. If you keep up with the homework and go to class, you'll do fine. She is very nice and will repeat explanations until everyone understands.

She takes FOREVER to go through a lesson or explain notes. It could easily be done in an hour but she drags it out by repeating herself and going into things that we won't need to do (She'll even tell you that). She assigns so much hw but doesn't actually grade any of it. She does allow a note sheet but her labs and tests are still confusing.

Wheeler assigns homework problems in topics that were not taught, give the answers in class but does not show how to work it out, and HW is not graded. She expects you to teach yourself and does not help in class. She has said "You should have read the textbook" or "We went over this already" if you ask for help. DO NOT TAKE HER

do yourself a favor and take stats with this professor if you really want to learn. yeah, it's hard. she let's you have a page of notes for the tests. you MUST STUDY on your own plus go to class!

This professor is a very nice person. However she is a terrible teacher. I would strongly suggest avoiding her if you can. Lecture is very unorganized and she is not easy to follow along with. If you're a math person you MIGHT be ok...

Very difficult multiple choice exams, but the 3 papers are graded super easy. Go to class and take good notes. Interesting PowerPoint slides, but she doesnt let you have them. Class can be a little boring, but prof is excited and knowledgeable. Also approachable.

Prof Wheeler knows her stuff. She is tough because she expects you to work hard, and she might get a little upset if you dont. No study guides, but she gives practice tests. Knows a lot and will move fast through the material if you just sit there and dont ask any questions. Curves grades at the end of the semester.

IF MATH is your weakest subject, do yourself a favor DO NOT TAKE HER! She is nice, however, she is very disorganized. She does not know how to TEACH BEHAVIORAL STATISTICS!! Rarely provides any help on how to do the problems and understand the steps. Goes over the material very quickly, no homework, and does not provide study guides for exams.

She does not post the lecture slides from class and the only way to obtain them is going to class to take notes. Sometimes she goes through the information at a rigorous speed which can be confusing. Last minute when posting the information about the paper you have to write, only gives you a weeks notice. MUST read textbook for exams.

Professor Wheeler was impossible for behavioural stats. She was very unorganized and skipped around a lot. The highest grades for exams were in the 85% to 90% range and she DOES NOT curve it. The homework isn't mandatory but it helps a lot. Be prepared to study hard, attend class, and struggle.

I'm not great at math and I did quite well in this class. She's a pretty great teacher, answers all your questions. 8 quizzes, one of them is the final, during the semester. Lets you have a sheet of notes for all of them. A good bit of group work, but she answers questions during. Really seems like she wants you to learn. Definitely recommend.

I took AP Statistics in high school and this class was far easier. But statistics isn't for everyone. You don't go really in depth, but you learn what you need to know. Prof Wheeler was always willing to go over and explain anything the class didn't understand. So nice. Make sure not to miss the days she teaches how to use the computer programs.

The class is just hard, plain and simple. But, Dr. Wheeler is a good professor. Eight quizzes including the final. She let's you have a sheet of notes for the quizzes, so you don't have to memorize formulas and things like that. You use SPSS frequently. Ask a lot of questions and make sure you understand what's going on and you should be fine.

Nicest lady ever. If you're not good at stats, I would not recommend her because she is not hands-on at all and after she teaches you the basics she just hands you worksheets to work on in group, but she is always there for individual help. Allows a sheet of notes for tests. Would recommend!

just a wonderful teacher, cares about her students. really understands how her students can excel and is just super friendly and helpful. wish i could take more classes with her. 1 long 15-20 page paper- due in sections, not very hard but a lot of reading in the class obviously. learned a lot so far and really enjoy going to her class.
