Feyzi is not like any other prof you will have he has a very unique style. He demands you do a good job doing the readings and is not afraid to call people out who have not. However if you put in the effort there is a softer humourous side to Feyzi that is quite enjoyable to be around.

Really wants to facilitate conversation. If you do the readings before hand lecture can be a really enjoyable experience. Class had the benefit of being about a really specific topic so it feels like you are really learning a lot. Highly recommend the course.

Absolutely loved attending professor Baban's lectures. Very personable (easy to talk to), clear lectures, knows the material, easy to approach. He does expect respect in the classroom & readings to be done, but that is more than fair to ask for. Anything he brought from current events related to the subject clearly. Great teacher! :)

Feyzi's awesome! He sure can ramble, but it's interesting stuff! I love how open he is about his leftist beliefs, and I enjoy the class all the more because of that! He's really funny, really intelligent, and very fair and clear.
