Comment:

Most underrated prof in the world. She is hilarious and wants students to succeed. I get so mad when people dont attend her lectures because if you actually listen youll see that she is very knowledgeable in what shes talking about.

Comment:

Her sense of humour wasn't the best, but she really loves her students. She gives every single question to the midterm and final so it makes studying soo much easier. God bless this woman.

Dr hunter was super nice and all her slides are posted online, however I recommend studying more out of the textbook than the slides. She was very helpful and actually gave hints to every single midterm question.

Comment:

Helps to show up to class but you don't have to, if you luck out with fair TA's then you will end up with a great mark. Reading the textbook helps to understand, but there is a lot of info in slides. Tells you exactly what to expect on the mid-term and the exam (description of every question), and she is very nice and approachable and makes jokes

Overall, not a bad prof. However, her lectures were a little boring as she tended to just read off the slideshow most of the time. She did give us some questions that would appear on the midterm AND gave us every single final exam question.

She is quite quirky but you can tell that she loves the information she is presenting. She can be a little dry and I had to use the textbook often to fully understand the content. She uses good examples to explain the material. The final exam was much more difficult that I was expecting, the questions dragged on and were hard to understand.

Its easy to skip class but if you attend, she has a lot of interesting info to share. She's hard to get ahold of outside of class. If you're lazy, you can pass but you will not do well. Overall a nice easy upper year course that I would recommend.

Good prof. Don't understand all the hate surrounding her. She presents the material well, is decently funny, and obviously very kind. Tests were very fair. I only had a few hours to study for each and received 90+ on midterm and final. Go to lecture so you know what content she is emphasizing, it won't be clear from just slides. Interest helps.

good prof... clearly had a deep understanding of material & a passion for biology. lectures were not the most exciting, especially if you didn't find material interesting, but she was a good teacher and made some jokes. people seemed to really hate her & were quite rude but i liked her??

She was so cute! She has a passion for biology. I get that what she teaches isn't exciting for everyone, but I personally found it interesting. I felt bad because a lot of the students in the lecture were extremely disrespectful and would leave while talking to their friends with like 10 minutes of class left, while she was still teaching. :(

The lectures are very boring. Also she'll say that you only need to know the 'lecture objectives' but you need to know very specific details. Your best bet is to try to know everything and get previous exams and hope for the best.

She is a pretty good prof. Sometimes she can be very hard to listen to, but that is partly because of the material she has to teach (very dry). But on the content that isn't dry she is very good at explaining it. She has fun with the material. Tells you what you need to know for exams, and they are very straight forward.

extremely mundane. terrible material that next to no students will ever find useful. she is quirky and nice but the material she teaches and her instructional style are awful. skipped classes the entire semester and still did well. do your labs, read the text and you will do just fine without going to lectures. Brock needs to update curriculum.
