Great prof and guy all around! I had him my freshman year(1999) and when I see him at the Fall Fest now we still stop and talk. He teaches you to write in your own style and to find what makes you tick. USI lost a great prof when they let him go. His teaching style has helped me greatly as a grad student and will when I go to law school.

Fired because he allowed students to control their own assignments, didn't put a box around creativity, let students choose what to write. Then would critique unclear points, grammar, etc. The university didn't like that the students had so much freedom, but I still have him read my writing.
