Fairly easy class, her tests and quizzes are completely over the powerpoints. Randomly checks attendance and will bump you a grade. A grade is very low, (87%). Got an A in the class. Study the powerpoints and you'll be fine!

As long as you make Biology class your life, you'll do fine. I got an A in the class because I went to as many SI's as possible and studied my butt off! Lab's help a lot. If you ask her questions in class, she tells you the answer too fast for you to write it down and goes on to the next question. Don't use your book at all, just powerpoints.

She is very good, talks a little fast but is willing to repeat. Her class is entirely based off her powerpoints, as they summerize the book. I noticed she wrote the lab book ,so I used that to study as well. I have an A in the class and in lab, and got 2 A's and a B on the tests, easy weekly, quizzes. She has an SI and extra credit oppertunities

I struggled in the beginning of the semester, however, once I went to her office hours she was EXTREMELY helpful and she answered a lot of my questions. My test grades went from 70s to 90s based upon her help. You must make an effort to get her help if you're struggling or else her lectures are completely confusing.

She is by far the worst teacher I've ever had in my life - I think somewhere deep down she might have a clue what she's talking about, but it definitely doesn't show. She won't help if you come to her, impossible to work with, very rude to students - I'm annoyed that I had to waste $700 taking her class!

Overall, she is a pretty tough teacher. It's hard to stay alert in class because she is boring and her quiz and test questions are pretty tricky. Make sure you know practically ALL the material everytime or the trick questions will most likely lower your grade a lot.

When asked questions in class she refuses to answer w/ responses such as I dont know what you are asking or I dont understand what you mean EVERYTIME She covers tons of material quickly, gives attendence checks if anyone leaves the classroom,drops class grades for cell phone usage, and if you ask for help understand that she will make you feel dumb

EASY CLASS. She covers a lot of material, but all of her notes are on e-companion, and she knows what she's talking about. Read the textbook chapters and go to the SI before the test. Weekly quizzes are easy. I never went to class and always got B's on my test.

if you dont attend class...beware..she has occasional attendance checks. Also when she is lecturing, try to stay awake. The hour and 15 minutes tends to go by extremely slow and there is a ot on info. packed into that time.

Reads a powerpoint to you every day. Sometimes adds to them. Most students print off the slides and take notes on them. Offers nothing in class to hold your attention; I often struggled to stay awake. Makes attendance on Fridays extra credit when no one shows up, which will help your grade. Moves fast through material. Tests are 104/100.

Mrs. Padgitt was a pretty good teacher. All the test questions come from the notes which are on ecompanion. Lectures kind of boring because she basically reads the notes...only a couple assignments/quizzes...SI's really helped with this class. She takes attendance everyday which kinda sucks.

She is an alright teacher. Before going to class make sure and print off the power point slide show because she does go too fast through the slide show to copy it all down, plus it is easier to study from. Also, go to class, sometimes she has surprise quizes or videos or things that count for a grade.
