Dr. De Lucia is an extremely nice guy and is very intelligent. However, his intelligence can make it difficult to follow at times. While I went to class, I got most of my learning done through the textbook. Definitely buy! I got an A on every exam despite low averages so his exams are easy if you can learn the material on your own.

The final was pretty hard (avg=53%). Dont bother to go to the lecture, the handwriting was awful. I would not recommend. (I recommend Dr. Barrett's 1251, seems an easier A than this)

Great guy, you can tell he really cares about his students. Saturdays before tests, he has review sessions where he explains everything. Real funny and nice guy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great guy personality-wise. Nice, but doesn't teach well. Makes easy concepts hard to follow with his train of thought, often doesn't finish lectures. Don't bother going to lecture; all his old exams are posted, and he either recycles the questions or takes problems out of the book. With a good TA, this class is an easy A.

Great guy with fun personality, but doesn't lecture well. Thought processes are hard to follow, usually runs out of time during lecture, so don't bother going. Quizzes and exams are easy; he takes problems exclusively from the textbook. He gives tons of practices exams from years back, and often recycles problems. This class is an easy A

loooves questions! & does a lot of demos in the class. but spends too much time deriving the equations rather than doing problems. goes off topic & slow at times. the demos were the only fun part of the lec for me. tries to help you though.

Really fun guy. Concepts in 132 were difficult, but his tests are much easier. Highly recommended. His old tests are posted on Carmen and google. He goes to all the football and basketball games too lol

I got an A in his class just by studying his previous exams and reading the book. I went to his lectures less than half the time and still didn't have a hard time understanding what was going on. He is straightforward and predictable, which is what I liked about him. No surprises, just tests over what you should know and what's important.
