He's super off-topic and likes to just have fun conversations. If you can't understand philosophy at all you might have a tough time, but he spells everything out for you. His memory is shot and he'll sometimes wander out of the classroom. He picks on students but is really an incredibly nice guy. Complete hippie and proud of it.

Had him for FYS about Conservation of Environmentalism. We hardly did anything and most of the class consisted of off-topic conversations. He questions everything anyone does and loves to mess with his students. Some people will find this really annoying and hate it. But it was fun to mess with him back.

I didn't learn a single thing. The grades are arbitrary. I went to all but 2 classes and I still got a terrible grade even though I paid attention and did both of the assignments. Yes both of the assignments. That was awful. Take it with anyone but him.

I've had the pleasure of studying under Dr. Ricci for two semesters, and have come to the conclusion that he epitomizes the notion of getting what you put in. His lectures sometimes veer towards hilarity, but if you show interest he is an invaluable resource and a genuinely great guy. He is an easy grader, provides much insight, and is a must-take

Dr. Ricci is a very interesting professor who does care about his student's grades. Although he is unstructured with his lessons, he is entertaining and makes taking an ethics class worth while.

Comment:
Boring, very unstructured and unclear about what is expected. Unorganized class time and no powerpoints, handouts, or writing on board takes place. Little group work, and many people skip. Rarely go over the assigned readings in details. Nice guy but unclear of what he's grading you on. Take home essays, and open note exams common.

A really cool prof. He is hylarious in class and gets off topic very easily, but at the same time is very into what he teaches and makes it interesting. Grades are a little random, but as long as you try your best, you will get an A. Highly Recomended

Grades come out of nowhere. There is no way to know what your grade is or how he comes up with an overall grade. Doesn't take attendence, yet includes it as part of the grade - says he know who is there or not, but he doesn't!

Comment:
If you know how to ask the right questions, he'll essentially tell you the answers to the tests. There really was no syllabus and there was no attendence policy. He is really lenient about letting you make up stuff you do in class if you skip a day. Seems like he knows his stuff. So, overall, good professor.

Easy grader. Does not really follow the syllabus and gets off track in class easily. His directions on papers are always vague, but he usually lets you redo them if you are not satisfied with the grade. Overall, I didn't learn very much.

He talked in circles and switched off topic like an ADD kitten, but once you figured out how to follow what he was saying it was easy to follow.
