Dr. McGregor is an EXCELLENT professor. Thanks to her I learned a LOT about privacy rights here in Canada and compared to the USA, I also learned about the Canadian and USA legal systems and it's differences. Amazingly for the abstract skills thinkers, you have to read and make conclusions, infer, READ and learn. Thank you very much!! AM 2010 prom.

This was an awful class. Do not take it. brutal professor, very lazy and unhelpful, when student asked for clarification she would tell them to Google it. I dont pay $7000 a year at Western to be told to Google something. Clearly not qualified in the field of law to be teaching a law course . So many errors.

I am not surprised to see all the negative reviews here. I have found this professors instructions to be very unclear to the point where my ability to succeed has been impacted. The materials are presented with bias. This professor's efforts do not reflect the high level of education I have come to expect at Western

Wow..really awful prof. She's rude, and its her way or the highway. I liked the material, but she made it the worst. I dont care how interested in the subject, if she is teaching the course, DO NOT take it!

I took Problems in Mass Society online with McGregor. I found her to be great, and very informed. I can see why some people would have issues with her direct manner, but her conclusions are extremely accurate (even if you don't want to hear it). There was a ton of reading and you absolutely must read all the articles. My final mark was 86.

Wow is all i have to say. I have her for public opinion, my first sociology course. The title of the course might as well be "Gaile McGregors opinion" because unless it is the same as her opinion it is wrong. Your opinion does not actually matter. She is horrible, what a useless class and a worse teacher.

worst class ever! It's hardly even a sociology course! she overexaggerates concepts to fit a whole lecture when it could be summed up in half a page. So many errors in the lectures. Boring material. Worst essay to write. This class was so bad! I suggest no one taking this if you want a good university experience!

hmmm, let's see. Dry lectures. Confusing overheads. Arrogant manner of speaking. Takes a long time to mark things. Oh, and did I mention that she doesn't even move around while she lectures?? If you do happen to need this course, for the assignments, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM TO A T. Don't deviate at all.
