George is easily in the top 5 teachers I have ever had. Has writen several successful plays and knows the ins and outs of the industry. We focus on different genres of writing but he has no biases. His structure for creative writing courses has a lot of group review so be prepared to share your work. Awesome teacher who is helpful and understanding

Comment:

This was my favourite class this semester. I don't understand people claiming George is boring and/or a tough marker. If you have done the reading(s) for class the discussions are engaging and enjoyable. Essays come back quite quickly and with extensive notes and corrections, so there is no reason not to improve with every assignment.

He's a hard marker but fair. He teaches well but his lectures can be a little boring. He's very helpful and will give you tips on what need to improving on. Overall I'm glad he was my prof for this course. I recommend taking one of his courses.

George is an awesome teacher. I learnt a lot from his classes. He is very helpful and marks fairly. He really wants students to understand the things he says. Easy to talk to. Will surely take classes with him again. Gives bonuses as well. Really enjoyed his classes.

George is a great teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable and even in a three hour class on a Monday night I don't get bored. I used to really dislike English, and it's still not my favourite subject but I enjoy this section! He is a fairly tough marker but completely fair and always willing to help.

Loves his subject, and does a great job of teaching it! Very knowledgable. At times seems to not expect very much from students and is willing to give extensions if a seemingly legitimate excuse is given. Not the easiest marker for essays, but fair.

he sucks!!!! he's so meek, almost mousish!! he mumbles a lot, very off topic sometimes. this class is great to fall asleep in!! who the heck rated him as hot, he not. i hated this class so much!!! stay away, it's a waste of time for people who already have prior experience in writing classes
