Professor Stevens was the absolute best professor I ever had. I ended up signing up for all of my history classes with him. He made the subject for which I had no interest, the most interesting subject I studied.

If this is the teacher I think it is, he was a godsend. He took a subject that usually put me to sleep and made it come alive. Plus, if you saw him in his office he told you how to do his tests. He said to me "Look, if I ask a question in class and then spend 20 minutes answering it-count on that question being on the test." Helped me loads.

Wonderful professor filled with enthusiasm. He loves it when you are eager to participate and he's usually in high spirits. His tests are not difficult but they are not easy either. Great professor!

Retiring! - this is his last semester, and it will be a great loss to the History Dept and the school. Passionate, knowledgeable, and makes the information interesting and easy to understand. He's the kind of teacher you wish there were more of for all your classes.

His tests are hard and the term paper weren't easy to do. Make sure you check your grammar or else points are taken away You have to pick a book and then write about it. Essay are the bulk of the tests. Choose wisely when you pick a story to read. The stories are pure fiction that take place during the events in American History.

Such a great teacher, he's incredibly sweet, and very smart. You can tell he loves what he does, he's so enthusiastic, will answer any questions you have, and gives out a great review sheet for the tests too. You do need to study though, especially if you don't like history. I did fine even though I usually hate history classes.

BEST professor i had in my first semester at DCC. He loves what he teaches, always willing to clarify the material and give extra help. Laugh at his jokes and sit in the front and you'll be his favorite student. Always polite and loves his job!

One of the only professors i enjoy listening to. Very passionate about the subject along with his students. Discusses his notes rather than writing on the board but repeats himself so you have an opportunity to write. Tests are a bit difficult but STUDY and you'll pass. I RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY. AWESOME GUY

A fabulous professor. Passionate about his teaching and the material, all of which is does not need many notes to teach. The class takes two trips per semester, both are a blast. He shows a few films in class and the readings he assigns are always discussed the next class period. Students can go to him for anything, be it an issue or just to talk.
