Worst professor at NC State. Get out while you can! This guy laughed at peoples answered when they turned in theyre finals. His "book" has errors in it and he doesnt care about you.

Pro: Offered tons of extra credit. Cons: You can call it teaching, but he's very confusing and unclear. Text (he authored) just as bad.I've made great grades in my college career but I nearly failed every assignment due to his harsh, subjective grading and vaguely defined problems (ie: compare two images). Very condescending when asking for help.

After reading the reviews I was scared to take his class. Dr. Trussell seems to be at least trying very hard this semester and is always trying to help, but the problem is he's just not good at explaining things. He makes plenty of files available on the webpage that help out. But be ready to teach yourself a lot out of the book.

He is smart, but can't teach. His lectures are boring at best and he has a very condescinding nature about him. If you have to take his class I suggest you sit in the front row and kiss his ass and that way you might get a "C".
