Her sense of humour made the class kind of bearable. She gives out hints about what's in the exams. She makes the process of learning statistics fun, and SHE GIVES OUT SKITTLES! *enough said*

Overall, she is an okay prof. She doesn't always explain things very clearly, but her notes (which are almost identical to the textbook) are good. She gives hints about exams because she wants her classes to do well.

This prof is really nice and tries so hard to make the class interesting - I just suck at stats... I totally recommend this prof though... She gave us chocolate.

She made this class bearable, her exams were awesome and she was friendly and kinda funny. I rarely attended lectures and still passed easily. I pretty much did nothing for this class. Loved her!

Her notes are great, the homework is not a ton to bear and with the occasional joke her class is probably about as good as you can get learning statistics. Plus if you show up there are hints to the exams and also the free candy.

She does her absolute best to make statistics fun! I admit, some of the classes were genuinely fun and she had a sense of humour. An excellent professor who provided an easy opportunity to get grades online with MathXL (MAKE SURE TO DO EVERY ONE OF THEM AT 100%). Unfortunately, the class is still hella boring.

Good prof. Explained topics well and tried to have fun with it (ex. stats with skittles!) Made me feel a bit stupid asking questions during office hrs though. Recommended.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! If you were to take 252, I recommend taking it with J. Heo. At first I thought the course would be hard considering many people blamed her English for their marks. This is a horrible lie. Her english is fluent and after each class she reviews the previous lecture. I got an A+ in her class =)

She's not horrible, her English is not that bad. You NEED the text, just buy it. It's hard to follow her lecture, but found that her summary is much more helpful. She should get rid of those confusing Power point(they all from the text). The exams are hard. She makes thing harder for us. Some questions are totally out. well,Stat is not fun anyways.

She isn't the worst teacher, but makes the material seem allot more difficult than it is. I found it really hard to follow her lectures, relying on her summarization's of previous classes written on the board to understand the presentations. I NEEDED the text to learn the material. Midterm was too hard, final should be better.

Generally a good prof. I definitly didn't find her English a problem like I do for some profs. The notes were clear and concise and her lectures weren't boring. I also really liked that she did a quick review at the beginning of each class. Useful if you ask for help, but can make u feel stupid if u don't get things. Hard exams.

Not a terrible class or prof.. But her English kinda sucked. Exams were alright (as it's all in her notes) but somehow class average on the final was low (60ish?) and no one did really well... Her syllabus marking boundaries are a little out of whack, but she adjusts them.

Comment:

Easy class if you know how to use the formulas. She was a bit hard to understand although she was helfpful afterclass. Also probably a bit easier than other profs because her class isn't cumulative and she cuts sections as she pleases. Also let us off 20 min early every class.
