I took this class for Math92S during fall and it was an easy A as long as you do the homework from the book and clarify any questions you have with professor Matley. He does not have mandatory homework but you do have classwork sometimes which is usually on the tests. Professor Matley is a great teacher, he actually made learning math fun haha :P.

Professor Matley is a sweet old man who likes to teach his students math. Although, he can be confusing and just jumps into lecture. His tests are straightforward and passed with an A. Felt bad for him because students would take advantage of him. Overall great person just horrible at teaching. Take him if you want an easy a for Math92s.

This man is so sweet but sadly is very old. He tries his best to help every student, and has a bright smile and cracks a lot of jokes. His lectures helped very little, but his tests were exactly like the practice exams in the back of the book so learn those and you will be fine! Also there is a homework assignment due at the end of every class.

YOU DO NOT NEED THE TEXTBOOK FOR 92G. Be aware that he is left handed so if you sit on the right side of the room, you can never see the board since he has his back to the class writing 80% of the time. There is no mandatory homework, but you do classwork for 6 points at the end of each class.

DON'T TAKE HIM-He talks extremely low, writes tiny on the board, doesn't introduce topic- just jumps in and expects us to know what he is talking about. He teaches mostly theology of math¬ how to do the actual problems. He also gets off topic with space, Newton, and whatever else. He's very sweet but Khan academy was my teacher this semester.

Jumps into lessons and expects you to keep up. Doesn't talk very loudly and doesn't slow down either. You must sit at the front in order to see the chicken scratch writing and hear him too. He'll say you need a calculator but you don't.

Would not recommend him to anyone. Everyone is so lost all the time due to him talking to the board not the class. Barely explains the lesson, it is 3 hours of non stop examples without an explanation. Homework is optional for review but if you can't self teach yourself the lesson you will struggle...

Easy B, drops 1 low test & quiz. Lots of extra credit and homework is optional. Practice exams are very similar to the real ones. However, there are no practice exams for quizzes. He grades stuff fairly quickly, expect to get exams/quiz/extra credit back within the next day. Has code names when sending grades via email. (anonymous) :D

Great teacher he's very sweet definetly the one to take for an easy A. He has classwork about once a week maybe, about 3 projects a few quizzes that are identical to his lecture from the day before and a few tests that are also practically identical to his practice tests everything's mostly calculator work

Easiest class ever! I got a 16/20 for my test and that's a B, when I know I should've gotten an 10/20. He gives partial credit for everything, projects and quizzes are easy too. One kid got 7/20 on his quiz but his letter grade was a C, should've been an F. Easy A take him!

I can say I do not feel prepared to take Calculus. It is all calculator work. He will give you programs that he has made to make your life a little easier. It is all tests, quizzes, and class work. You use the homework to study. I went to tutoring everyday to understand what I was learning because he gets distracted easily. Easy B, though.

Don't be fooled by the falsely positive reviews of this horrible instructor! He is confusing, constantly makes mistakes and when asked explain responds "I made it up" or "just guess". No he doesn't allow any notes on tests! He doesn't care if you learn a thing! Just wants to make sure he gets thru the curriculum leaving you unprepared for Math 80

very helpful sends lots of emails with answers to study guides and homework will go over a problem and will show you step by step. He is too nice some students just leave class when he is talking. He never talks loud he expects the class to quiet down when he talks
