He is nice, explains pretty good and gives tons of great examples. Easy to get a good mark if you read the book and understands the subject to be able to come up with an example for short answer Qs. His class is always fun!

He is always exciting and very knowledgeable in International Business. Though, our class was not participative and not as interested, he was still jolly and engaging. You have to work hard to get a good mark. Easy to fall asleep. But his lectures (if you pay attention), helps you with quizzes and MT. Book helps a lot for quiz and midterm and final

What's with the hype surrounding Gordon? His lectures are disorganized and his midterms/quizzes are unfair. Not based on his lectures whatsoever and it feels like he expects us to know everything he knows without teaching it to us.AVOID! My GPA is plummeting because of this man.

He knows and loves the subject! Very good instructor and nice guy! Online quizes and exams were all based on textbook and other materials he gave. Helped a lot. Take his course!

Gordon is probably best for higher level courses. He likes to discuss rather than follow a text (although the midterm/quiz material is from the text). He is qualified and experienced in business. He likes to share lots of supplemental links to articles etc. He's really nice and tries to learn everyone's name.

This guy's awesome. He gets us to put in the effort to succeed in College and in business when we leave. He is full of good information based on his experience in businesses. He answers e-mails and questions 7 days a week right through the year. Some of the negative comments on rate my profs are probably from losers.

I have seen some negative comments about Gord but I have found him extremely helpful and knowledgeable about business.He's got a lot of business experience which he brings to class and makes it easy to understand. If you want an easy A don't take him but you'll learn a lot. He's hot too with his white hair. :)

This is probably the worst class I have a taken at my 4 years at Langara. Absolutely no thought was taken in executing the curriculum for this on line course. His personal skills are zero. All my exams were passed as fare as the multiple choice questions go but he has issues with my writing - I am a communications major. What a waist of time.

Great online teacher. Easy discussions, OK quizzes/midterm. Everyone relies too much on notes when doing quizzes, much more helpful if you KNOW the concept already. Never met the guy but I like him, he's helped me quite a lot =]

I'm frankly mesmerized by these comments--I took an online class with Gordon and he was terrible! His correspondence with students, is arrogant, condescending and persistently unhelpful. I can't speak to his teaching abilities in person, but avoid working with him online at all costs!

BEST TEACHER EVER! Had no interest in marketing prior to this class, now I'm considering majoring in it! Great examples to help understand what marketing is, great lectures, never boring. Very fair marker, but NOT easy. must work VERY hard to get a good mark. Get test questions in advance and he chooses 3/13. TAKE HIM unless you don't like working!

He is an extremely knowledgable teacher, fun, relates subjects being taught in class to personal work experience, which really helps in visualizing, and understanding the topic. I recommend him if you want to learn about marketing and work reallllllllllllllllllllly HARD to get atleast a B.

VERY GOOD TEACHER but if u don't attend his classes it's hard to follow. He also expects u to read the chapters n notes ahead. His tests are reality based questions so it bit difficult. His classes are fun n he's smart so don't play any tricks on him. He runs his class with powerpoint n print out of from webCT. He's bit tough to take.
