A lot of people will complain about this teacher. Yeah she goes through the notes fast but there's a lot of content so she isn't the most helpful. But go to class, get the notes and study that. Yea the quizzes and exams are hard but guess what, if you actually study, not just "study", you can do well. It's university.. Obviously it'll be hard.

The class is OK, though the material is interesting it doesn't come across that way when Gwen is lecturing. She is nice enough, just dont be rude when debating something with her. She has a lot of material to get through so she can't take much time to further explain things during class, but she will if you schedule a time to see her. Study!!

she is cranky, mean, and likes to make students feel stupid if they ask a question that she feels the answer to is obvious. her tests and quizes are hard. she goes through the material wayy too fast. i found her classes not helpful,& it was much easier to learn from the textbook (which she says, btw, is not necessary.."just learn the notes"..NOPE)

Many times when someone asks a question she'll answer with "It doesn't matter". I don't even bother to find possible mistakes in her test marking anymore because no one is ever right. I've gone to every class, and it was really a waste of my time because I could have just learned it from the textbook for not many questions are even answered

Don't know what everyone is talking about here...Gwen was just fine and she always answered questions when people asked.... engaged in conversations with people and didn't make them feel stupid (unless you take EVERYTHING personally). A little cranky at times but understandable, people can be ignorant!!!
