She doesn't use blackboard she only puts a few words on the board from the chapter that we are suppose to be covering but is from somewhere else or not even in the book. She assigns a midterm, final, a paper. Not hard but you'll have to read on your own. She also lost my paper and said I never gave it to her . Info is easy as long as you read.

The majority of the class is based on a study she did in the 90's on NYPD officers, but she also incorporates other studies into the discussion. Research paper and presentation + two exams. There is a lot of reading to do, but if you skim and take good notes you'll be fine. Overall she is a sweet lady, a little boring though.

She is a very sweet woman. The class mainly focuses on prev. studies done on police officers + her book (which is a partnership study done on all of the NYPD). The class can be pretty boring but the tests are based on the studies/ things you go over in class, so taking good notes can help pass the time. Typical final research paper + 2 exams.

She reminds me of a sweet grandmother, she is deaf. She knows a lot but she has to retire already. She gives 2 tests that are easy and a boring final paper.

Prof Gerber is a straight forward professional who knows exactly what she is teaching. Students who are late or texting or on phone breaks are not going to pass the class. All of the material is connected somehow so missing class is not an option. She reviewed every topic before exams and assigned hw to clarify any doubts in my mind. She is grea

I was very interested in the class but her lessons weren't really there. We read the book that she wrote plus one more. Her book was boring and very repetitive as was her teaching. She's ok, not great by any means. Easily passable.

Honestly..I have never been on this site before, and I came on here just because of her! She is the worst professor I have had at..I am a pretty good student and I thought the class was miserable..She makes computation mistakes all the time, and even mistakes on the review sheets that she does not go over, so you study her mistakes on review sheets

She is a very good professor - you just have to do your work. As long as you listen in class and study you will be fine. She is also a very nice woman and will take every effort to help you.

she is clear if you can follow the text book along with the lecture. the exams questions are tricky, and there isn't alota computation problem. you can get an A if you memorize the terms she mentions in class. theres a work book, make sure you do it and understand them. she answers questions, but she also tries to distance her self from students.

In the beginning the class wasn't bad but as time goes on you'll realize that she's a horrible teacher because she doesn't explain things very well and she is a horrible grader even when you do put an effort towards understanding. Don't take her!

She seems nice, but she is mean in an indirect way. There are 3 exams, she does not review nor go over exams. A lot of Workbook assignments. If you don't get it she will tell you to go to a tutor, what the hell and I paying for the class for??

She is not clear! She will not review for exams nore go over exams, she wont let you keep them either, she collects everything back. This is a self-teaching class, if you don't have the time to go to a tutor, look elsewhere!!!
