Either the people who say Awadallah is bad either never had Talaga or he changed, or they just didnt study. I think he's a pretty good chem teacher. Chem isn't easy as it is but he really wants everyone to do well n understand. He has a great personality, funny, and his accent isn't that bad at all. He's very fair and I would deff take him again.

Dr. Awadallah is a very nice professor. He is better than Dr. Talaga. I got a 97.5 while with Talaga I got a 36. He is very helpful and cares about his students. His exam was based on the quiz and problems we did in class. He even spent the lab class time to go over the quiz so we will be ready for the exam.

People say that awadallah is terrible, but hes definitely changed his teaching style. Compared to all the chem professors at msu, hes definitely up there. He makes chem seem interesting and has a great sense of humor and he definitely cares about everyones grades. If you had a choice of which professor to take for chem 1 TAKE HIM!

It's a tough class if didn't have a great teacher for Chem I, and if you don't know your chem. If you work hard and devote a lot of effort and time into this class, you'll be fine. Awadallah isn't the most helpful, but he definitely isn't cold-hearted and he does want you to do well!

He just really cares about chemistry, probably more than his students. About his accent, we do live in America, and there are so many accents, you need to learn to do with them b/c they wont be going away -_- I'm taking his summer course and he's been pretty great. Never a dull moment in my opinion.

This teacher is an extremely cold hearted man. Although he makes jokes, they are funny but in the end he is laughing at you because of your grades. He makes comments on people's grades, and i feel bad for those kids. Hard to get an A or even a B so goodluck to all. do your hw and maybe it will help. This guy is not the devs. He is a big basket of chemistry. The charlatans bad mouthing him on here don't know how to study for a rigorous science exam. His exams are composed of usually 5 questions. If you didn't study a concept he went over in class..you could be getting yonned the hardest. Understand the material and you will snag num grades.

Prof. Awadallah is fun, he's laid back and easy going, i took chem 1 with him and got a 74 on my first test, little did I realize for his tests i had to think very narrow. Memorize HIS notes, his definitions and his calculations. he's funny and if you have a question ask it. Don't be afraid! he curves!! and drops the first test if you do better!!

Smart, experienced professor but very rude, inpatient, and gets angry when students' questions dont make sense to him. He expects you to memorize his definitions and takes many points off if an answer on a test doesnt match his definition. He's not helpful in lab. If you take him, memorize his notes and use the book as well. And good luck to you

Alright, personally he is not a bad teacher if you already know the material and need a refresher. Other than that, you're gonna struggle. His definitions of terms is exactly what he wants you to use on the test, not the book. He doesn't help when you ask questions. He makes fun of you if you ask or do something stupid. Hhhmmm lets just say I was the A+ student who never took rate my proffessor seriously cuz i thoought as long as I work hard ill do fine. Think Again.. the warnings here are real if your taking more than 2 classes dont take him.. youll have to teach yourself chemistry and his exams are retarted and dont reflect the important aspects of chem.

You will learn Chemistry but not from him. Basically I had to teach myself and get help from tutors. In a way I pushed myself to limits I thought I couldn't go. It helped me develop new study habits but in the end, I would get another teacher if I was you. If you want to take him you have to study A LOT. Your world will revolve around Chemistry.

He's a really nice guy, funny, and kind, but he's just not a good professor. He can't really teach. On his tests, you have to put exactly what he gave you in the notes or else he'll take points off. Just memorize the concepts a lot, lab is easy.
