I have never had such a worse experience with a professor. He continually belittles me when I had questions in office hours and via email. I ended up withdrawing early because after I failed the first 2 classes there was no hope. I had changed my entire studying process and there was no improvement or evidence of my efforts. If you can, avoid Grau.

I had Dr. Grau for both 314 and 315, and while his classes are difficult, they are not impossible. If you put in the effort outside of class, you should do fine. I recommend recording lectures. He is very willing to help if he sees you're trying. Make sure to always review last lectures material before arriving to class.

I took Grau two semesters in a row. His class was not as bad as the rumors but you do have to more time and effort into this class than any other ones. I found this material interesting and grau is very thorough make sure you read the textbook don't just rely on class notes. Make sure to look over past material and textbook questions before class.

Dr. Grau is not as bad as everyone claims. He is tough but just expects a lot of hard work. He only tests you on what was covered in class, so if it is in the book but was not covered in class it is not on the test. Study hard and take good notes and you will do fine. (His quizzes are pop quizzes though)

The worst decision I have made at CNU was taking Dr. Grau, I would have rather waited until my senior year to get into A&P than take him... which is what I should have done. He was the most unfair teacher I have ever met, he literally TRIES to trick you. They say second semester is easier than the first, not really.. I would say avoid if you could.

Not as bad as everyone says, but still really tough. He's not out to fail you, but he doesn't make it easy to be successful either. His lectures are really unorganized and he sometimes tests on things that are not in the book. Tests are tough and he doesn't give materials to use to study. Otherwise, enjoyed the class. Intelligent and funny guy.

Don't take Dr. Grau unless you are ready to seriously learn. You cannot show up to Dr. Grau's class unprepared on the day's material. He can be very arrogant & if you ask a stupid question he will make you feel stupid, but if you really want to learn & he can see you're putting effort into it, he'll help you out. One of my favorite professors

Read the chapter before lecture, take notes and pay attention during lecture, review your notes and do the connect assignments consistently (not just the day or two before the test) and you'll get an a.

The only reason anyone should have to endure this class and his arrogance is because he/she does not have a car, cab fare or bus fare to take it elsewhere. Naturally, this course is expected to be difficult; however, no one should have to put up with his attitude and lack if positive encouragement.

One of the best professors I have ever had, but also one of the hardest. I came out of the class learning more than I have ever learned, but I also dedicated myself to this class above and beyond any other class I have ever taken. He is willing to help one on one, as long as you show you are paying attention and actually reading the material.

Only take this class if you are ready to learn anatomy. You HAVE to read before class and if you do read his lectures are awesome! He is very smart and he adds a lot of good input in lecture. Tests are really hard but if you read and pay attention and do practice tests they are doable. In nursing school now and SO GLAD I took him!

Really hard class. He's not the nicest, cracks bad jokes and is overwhelming with the amount of assignments, but I do feel like I learned a lot from him. He really pushes you to go beyond the requirement and learn. Only take this class if all your other classes are easy/don't require much. It did prepare me for medical school though.

Worst professor at CNU, avoid at all costs! Not helpful at all and makes you feel stupid whenever you try to understand something. Jumps around SO much when the material is difficult to start with.

Dr. Grau is a complete jerk. He says he wants everyone to do well but makes you feel stupid when you ask him a question. The card game is stupid and the worst learning tool I've ever used in my life. It is a challenging class, but he talks in circles and jumps all over the place.

A very difficult class. He gives you so much information that it is nearly impossible. Very interesting stuff, but so much. If you are not a BIO major you will probally struggle to do well, though if you put in alot of work it is not impossible.

Prof. Grau is AWESOME!!! He is so helpful and he starts everyone off with an A (in 109lab) and all anyone has to do to maintain it is show up to the labs and pass most of the quizzes...which are a breeze!!!

This is by far the hardest class I've ever taken. I've also learned the most in this class than any other. It's not impossible to do well, and quite a few people got A's in the class. Just pay attention, read the material before class to prepare for the daily quizzes, study hard for the tests and the paracticals and you'll do fine.
