This professor is useless, he doesn't teach he just reads off lectures. Also a big problem with him is the material he teaches is from 1960 and material that he published himself and no one else uses. You cannot use google to teach yourself in this class. Dont bother taking him please you will regret it badly. he doesnt give partial credit

Not a very good professor. The material covered in the class is easy so I was still able to get an A, but that was with no help from prof. Singh. I had to teach myself everything because his lectures are useless, and finding helpful info online can be difficult for the topics he covers. Most of the time, if you ask a question he won't answer it.

Note sure how Wayne State kept this professor teaching. His HW are a lot. he will assign the entire book to write it down and submit your 70 page hw online. His lectures are useless. You won't learn anything in them. most of the students stopped going to his lectures and only show up on his exams. I really DO NOT recommend this teacher.

The material for this class is very interesting, however the way Dr. Singh teaches this class is just awful. He will very quickly skim over PowerPoints and expects you to retain the information instantly. Seems to get upset when you don't understand the material and when you ask questions. Be prepared to teach yourself EVERYTHING.

By far the most endearing professor I ever had in Engineering school. I was fortunate enough to have him when he first came to Wayne State (decades ago), and still remember him above all others. He definitely cares that you understand the material and encourages your progress even after you've finished his course(s). He is a true gem, kind spirit!

The material for this class is interesting and essential to those going into hardware focused fields. Unfortunately, Dr. Singh is a product of the past. He clings to outdated methods, assigns useless projects, and doesn't grasp when students' don't understand concepts. Great person, bad professor.

This professor is useless and the class content is also useless. This professor doesn't understand the concept of teaching. He will scan pages from the textbook and then skim through them as his way of lecturing. It is horrible and a lot of the exam content is stuff that you can't teach yourself on your own. (digital logic isn't on google)

Overall, I have no issues with his course, it's just that I honestly did not retain much from his lectures. He will present his info in class, and after asking you to copy it down in your notes, he will expect you to know it backwards and forwards right after. Overall, look at his notes and project. exams are open notebooklaptop.

He isn't clear on anything He jumps between book versions like crazy. He tells you to write down notes from his Powerpoints which are 4 years old along that you have to Google the syllabus because he doesn't provide it for you. His curve is great but you won't have learned anything valuable. Don't ask questions he will make you feel stupid.

amazing teacher. He's very laidback and easygoing as an individual, and if you're nice to him he'll be super nice to you and go out of his way to help you out with anything you don't understand. his exams are easy, and more to the point, if the class as a majority asks him to, he will make the exams open book AND open notes. highly recommended!!
