He was very well prepared for class. Spent much time after class with students that needed assistance (and our class was over at 9:40 PM). Exams were fair and directly related to our studies. He was one of the most professional instructors I have encountered at college so far. I would take another course from him.

Aruffo is the first professor that I had at college and he inspired me, helped develop an educational work ethic for me to follow, and did so much extra to help me 'find' myself. I recently graduated but it was only with this dedicated professionals assistance that I even continued my studies. Thank you Professor Aruffo - wherever you are!

A totally kick ass instructor that taught me the reality about the world through geography. I learned more in that one class than in ten other courses at SPJC. I read about him in the paper surviving the Tsunami in Thailand and remember him teaching about them in class. He really did know what he was talking about!

I took a course with Professor henry Aruffo two years ago. He was a great instructor and helped me understand the Geography of the Undeveloped World. Recently read about him surviving the Tsunami in Thailand where he volunteers his time to help the poor of the world. Truely, he is a great person!
