Henry Yee is the BEST lab instructor Ive ever had! The Chem 140 labs are fun; the lab reports could be tricky to do but he is always willing to help you as long as you show that you care about the class and that you are willing to work hard. He may seem scary at first but he really does care about the success of his students.

Best lab instructor! Easy to understand and very helpful with both the lab and the class. If you prove you are willing to work hard he will be your best friend! May seem harsh at first but appreciate his sassy attitude and love for Organic Chem as he makes it easier to get through.

At first I thought he was scary, and he is sassy but if you work hard he will help you. He is there to help all his students, the ochem lab was actually quite a lot of fun. He loves when students stay to start and finish the reports right after and he will help with any questions you have about the reports or even ochem itself. Henry is awesome

Henry's lab was great. At the start he seemed bitter, but as the weeks went on he got very nice. The write-ups got very hard at times, but it was worth it for how fun the lab was.

Excellent lab instructor! I've had 4 labs with Henry and every one I looked forward to. Even on days when you're seriously confused, or just forget something really simple, he will stand there and go through it with you until you get it. You do need a sense of humour to enjoy his labs, though.

At first I was kind of scared of him, but then I realized he really wasn't a scary guy. The labs themselves are decent and kind of interesting but the writeups are pretty challenging. Overall, he's a pretty nice guy and I would recommend going for help whenever you need it.

Awesome lab instructor! Can be prickly at first, but show him that you're not a complete moron and he becomes like your best friend, in a sarcastic kind of way. Also writes really good notes with diagrams for the labs and provides a lot of information in the lab book itself. Still, he won't spoon feed you the info.
