Overall a really great prof. Assignments are very hard, and often require outside research. His lectures are fairly clear, and he is very approachable. Midterm and exam were fair.

Fuks is a very hard professor as this is the first time he is offering this course he did not do a good job handling the midterm marks as the class average was a 58% and he only bell curved the mark just so the average can be at a 60% so it doesn't look too bad on him. That is a selfish move on his part. Avoid his classes at all costs.

He's absolutely one of the best profs i have gotten he is very nice and outgoing when you go to his office hours. He tries to make the lectures as interesting as he can make it. His midterm and Final exam was tough and he relates most of his problems on the assignments and test questions to physics. Overall an amazing prof.

His assignments and exams are extremely difficult, especially the final exam. He also isn't the best at explaining the lofty concepts on calculus. Better to just read the textbook.
