Herbert is awesome!! Took him twice. There are weekly quizzes and collected assignments. They help you keep a good grade in the class. There are about 3 tests, but if you do poorly on one he lets you drop the lowest grade and the final counts more. He's ALWAYS available for help and will show you exactly how to do problems on graded assignments.

He's a very smart guy and moves quickly, but will back up and explain well when you need it. Generous with office hours and always willing to help. Plenty of assignments so your grade never suffers too much from little mistakes. Tests are very similar to quizzes and notes; you know what to expect. Genuinely nice guy- I'd take calc with him again.

Herb is a nice guy, and is pretty funny. he likes if u stay away in class, hes pretty chill. quizzes everyweek, but helps your grade! sometimes will just add 2 points to your quiz grade! really easy class take him

herb is so easy, i'm getting a 99 and i'm dissapointed at myself that my grade is so low. easy to get extra credit on quizs and spends half the class going over hw and the next half teaching new material. gives an easy quiz every 4th hour, an occasional easy test.
