Comment:

For me COMP 232 was a demanding course which required considerable amount of study and also 100% focus on the material in the class. Prof. Harutyunyan is the master of keeping students engaged in his class until the last minute. I enjoyed every moment of his class. would definitely take him again.

One of the best profs at Concordia in the CS dept. He is smart and knows what he is talking about and he makes his classes enjoyable. I highly recommend taking his classes and get ready to study hard but also learn a lot of useful information

Excellent Teacher. My initial conversation with him telling me to drop the course after I had missed 3 classes, however if you show that you care and willing to work he will help you in anyway he can, he is very accommodating and very kind. The material wasn't easy but extremely rewarding. One of my favourite teachers at Concordia.

Pretty laid back guy. Very hard grader. He seems to switch subjects a lot when asked questions for whatever reason. Wants you to pass but doesn't really put in the effort in terms of effective teaching. Just reads a single set of slides. Assignments are hard and tests are very hard. Attendance counts and is taken via the iClicker system.

One of my favorite professors at Concordia and I believe we need more like him at the university. He loves what he teaches unlike many others. If you don't like computer science theory/math don't take his courses because they are heavy on that. You need to study A LOT to pass his courses, his exams will clearly show how much you studied.

Worst teacher ever, I have never seen such a demotivating professor in my life. For him if you don't score good marks in his course, you have failed in your life and you will not achieve anything. The way he talks and deals with students vary based on their marks.

I love this teacher! He is the best, he is so caring and enthusiastic about making students learn and thrive in their studies. The one thing I dislike about him is how he doesn't teach classes during winter cuz I'd have loved to have him as a teacher for my other classes. I'm forever grateful to this man for the patience and concern he has shown me

A real teacher and a wonderful person, funny, cheerful, enthusiastic, respectful, explains clearly and write on board, cares so much about students, knowledgeable, reachable, i was never bored, generous grader, material is hard so you must study and prepare, encourages participation, answers all questions, topics he stresses are likely in exams.

The professor presents everything clearly. He is very nice, always reachable, and the most important, he cares for students, he is concerned that students understand the material and learn something. You can learn a lot and expect to get positive and encouraging feedback. Don't worry about grades, he is a generous marker. Take him for sure!

He is punctual, organized, rigorous, works hard, and he expects students to do the same. Do not take him if you are not serious about learning something from the course. Expect to spend time on the assignments, but it's rewarding at the exams. One of the best teachers I ever had at Concordia.

He's a very nice guy, and like to say his lame jokes every now and then. As for the course material, he doesn't really seem to know what he's talking about. Many times he will just fumble around on the ideas hes trying to convey. Midterm was too easy, and the labs were a joke. Do well on those and you can expect a decent grade. You wont learn much.

Honestly, one of the top teachers I've had at this university. He does expect a lot from his students and will sometimes show his frustration, but if you show him that you're motivated he will be quite happy to give you the help you need. Unfortunately he seemed to be overloaded the semester I took him :(
