Honestly I regret not trying harder in this class because I could've gotten an A. All tests are open everything and he's really good about giving partial credit. I really enjoyed having him as a professor!

Great Course! It was literally so easy. All of the exams were open book and if you do the problem sets with someone else its not bad. He's also pretty funny which makes time go by faster.

Great stats course. Attendance not mandatory (except for labs). YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THE TEXTBOOK. He will say textbook is required, but, honestly, just watch Khan Academy stats videos and go through the PPTs and you should be fine for tests. Some true/false quizzes that are easy to prep for. You can look up assignment answers by googling the Qs.

Howard Gold is an amazing professor, and I would 100% recommend taking a class with him. You can tell that he cares about his students, and he is genuinely engaging lecturer. It took me a while to warm up to him, but now I want to take every class he offers. Gov 208 is particularly interesting, take it next time it's offered!

Gold is a great professor. He really cares about conveying the information in a way that students understand. He makes frequent use of media and video which is SO helpful in grasping the more abstract concepts. This class should be a requirement for everybody because there seems to be a general lack of understanding about our electoral process.

Professor Gold is SO MUCH FUN to work with. I love this man. He's down to earth, funny, and knows his stuff. Ask him about his research--it's super interesting. He's not a harsh grader at all, and if you attend the lectures, take good notes, and at least skim the main textbook, you'll be fine.

I am madly in love with Howard. He is so funny and connects so well to his students. Class with him is so entertaining and he is an easy grader. It's a really great combo. He is so smart and really opens your eyes. Textbook use is essential and theres a midterm and final. One paper and a series of blog posts. It's all easy to do though. Take it!!

He is so wonderful! His tests can be tricky, but just study and go in for help and you'll be fine! Every gov major should really take the class because I learned a lot. Just take it pass/ fail maybe? Anyway- Howard is so cute. And I'm totally crushing at this point. He's so smart and yeah.

I love Prof. Gold! He's an excellent lecturer, and he's really good at incorporating current events into his class as talking points and video clips. I especially recommend GOV 210 for anyone who is interested in being politically literate -- it provides a great understanding of how polling and the media impact politics.

Professor Gold is so fun. He gets his points across with humor and an adorable Canadian accent. I would take another of his classes in a heartbeat. Make sure you go to class though, I missed one or two and there were questions on the final that I didn't know as a result.
