Comment:

Class is a waste of time. He reads off the lectures slides and then skims over examples super quickly and expects you to know the stuff already. Labs are based on material you havent learned yet so expect poor marks. Is not accommodating to students from different faculties and their schedules. Unless this is a requirement, avoid this class.

Lab course. He is super helpful and is an awesome guy but tends to drag on the conversation....doesn't know how to cut it down. But otherwise, the labs are very "fun" to do but the lab write ups will take a bunch of your time!

Igor may be long-winded sometimes but he has put together an amazing third year lab course. He knows all his students by name and will offer help whenever asked. Stay on his good side and chat with him and you'll learn a lot (like which instruments will get you out of the second year labs fastest).
