I would never take a class with him again. BRUTAL! He mumbles, and gives indirect answers when asked questions. Paying attention in that class is the hardest thing of life, hence the reason no one attends. He writes everything on the chalk board, and has immensely messy handwriting. Freeman's the man! Awesome prof all around. Definitely loves his coffee. His random tangents about the business world can be hilarious as well. Class attendance is a must (he gives handouts). Review all handouts before exams and go to office hours if something is unclear - he goes the extra mile to make sure you understand, if you make the effort.

I liked him but I would not feel right recomending him to others. He has a very dry humour that I found hilarious (his examples and he let us use a cheet sheet for the mt and final because he didnt think it would help)I failed the MT but I went to his office hours and he said I could still get a good mark.He was right, I pulled off a B+

Freeman is a very friendly prof. but he only replies emails that are important or urgent. if you want to get good grade, do not take his course. I studied very very hard and got A-, but for the same effort i have put in i would have got A+ in other section. but i do feel that i learn something after i took the course

Jack Freeman is a horrible professor. Disorganized (CLEW site and class), chronic time waster and exams that have almost nothing to do with the material that he teaches in class. If you can avoid him, do it. If you cannot, good luck! In my class, he also gave us an assignment that he acknowledged to have nothing to do with our classes' content.

Has no use for the text book but it is necessary to have in order to complete his homework assignments. Goes off on many tangents about things unrelated to accounting. Has very dry humour that I found to be quite funny and made the class entertaining, for a change.

I took his classes in order to learn something for my future job as the auditor. Everything I learned in his class was at no use to me. I had to learn it all over again. His methods are impplicable in the current market, especially his cash flow statements methodologies. Avoid him at all costs!
