I took his online course, so its hard to get a good read on him. He seemed fair, but I probably wouldn't take an online class of his again. In person, I think he would be a more effective prof.

Comment:

Professor Savoni is one of the best accounting profs out there. He really cares about his students and his exams speak for themselves. Tax is a hard course but he makes it understandable and easy. He will give you good reviews chapter by chapter and then tell you the format of the exam exactly. Highly recommend, gives free participation marks too!

Hilarious and wonderful. I didn't learn much but I really enjoyed listening to him lecture. He made me look forward to coming to school. I didn't miss a class all semester

Professor Savoni knows his stuff. He's a professional and works in the industry. Ask questions and he will provide a thorough answer, he's fair and gives everyone the opportunity to succeed. Some people find him mean, others charming. I think he's hysterical. Have a sense of humour? You'll love this guy too! One of my favourite profs!

Peter Savoni is a great teacher. He knows his tax stuff and is very effective at getting the most important information through to you. His classes are fun, he likes to play games and if you participate you get extra credit. Word of warning be prepared for class, read the chapter before class. If you try hard he will help you.

You should go to class because he will go through examples, he is not awful as a teacher but wastes ALOT of time talking about himself and being arrogant. Overall the class is not SO hard, I worked but not THAT hard and finished with a 70.

Doesn't just tell you what rules exist, but also explains why they exist and what would happen if they weren't in place. If you go to class, you'll understand everything. All the bad ratings came from people who said 3 or lower on easiness; Likely the same people who skip class but expect to get A's. If you go to class, and take notes, it's easy.
