His lectures are always relatively good, he does call on people in class so be sure to stay awake and current on the readings. The material is interesting and his extensive experience helps him tie the material to real world situations. Exams are difficult. Cares for his students and wants to see them succeed.

Extremely intelligent teacher who is brought in from his usual executive training seminars to teach b-school freshman because he is so highly regarded professionally. The class was challenging, but ultimately very good. I've found that people who didn't like him were just angry that they didn't get an easy "A" like in high school. Take him!

Favorite Nickerson quote - "There are very few people like me in the world." Undeniably arrogant, but his class was very well-structured. All of the concepts are weaved in together beautifully. Grades tests hard (especially the killer first test) and there is no curve, but easy grading on the project makes up for it. Overall, a good course.

engaging professor who knows his stuff. very few professors can connect a classroom concept immediately to a real-life issue like he does. he answers questions without hesitation, - demonstrating his overall knowledge of his field. never brushes a question off. grade should reflect amount of studying. pay attention in class and you will learn a ton

Not a terribly difficult class in terms of concepts. Work FAST on the exams though because they are usually very extensive. Multiple-Multiple choice questions are tricky, but doable - KNOW YOUR STUFF. Nice guy about rescheduling exams though. All-in-all I am GLAD TO BE DONE WITH THIS FREAKING CLASS...

Very difficult class. Went to his office hours and was helped, but overall I thought he was somewhat arrogant. I think he should have gone into more detail about the class material rather than discuss "the wonderful world of the corporate culture in all its great majesty"

HE TRIES TO SCREW YOU OVER ON TESTS. The economics part of the class, which he can't be tricky about, I ace. It's the articles (and there are plenty of them that are annoying and long) are where he messes with your grade. He's so arrogant. His "advice" on how to do better on the test actually helped me do worse. Don't take it with him.

the most arrogant prof I have ever met. all he does is lecture about his sucess, money, and superiority. Even the TAs will openly admit how horrible he is - a complete ****. He seems to get pleasure out of his students failing tests - DONT AKE MGT WITH HIM! intolerable, boring, and impossible

Like him or hate him. I think he is a pretty tolerable professor who is passionate about teaching this course. Tries to relate to students. As to his arrogance, I guess I can only complain about it if I accomplish more than him. As for now, he's a good professor.
