There are so many horror stories written here but he wasn't all that bad. His tests were really hard, but I was able to get Bs on both of them. If you went to class, paid attention, and at least put forth some effort, getting a passing grade in his class IS possible!

Useless, unprofessional and vindictive. Knows nothing about modern graphic des. Takes out frustrations w/ dept + other faculty on his students. Final grade breakdown is a mystery since never receive final test,semester proj,and portfolio grade. Entire UCF graphic des program a joke. If you want a career in graphic des go somewhere else.

The fact that this class is required is a joke. The books that are ?required? for this class have never been opened or even used in class. We were told to buy over $200 in required supplies, most of which we have never used. Any original ideas we generate are shot down. Going to this class 3 times a week is a waste of my life.

Complaining aside; he is truly jeopardizing the future of current UCF Graphic Students; his dismissal of modern techniques smothers our short, expensive, and vital time as students, time that we depend on to build experience and a professional portfolio. The arduous hours spent cutting and gluing origami paper and copy will amount to nothing.

Chavda is truely terrible. Its not that hes just down right rude - hes also completely useless as a professor. we are about 10 weeks into school and have turned in 1 stupid assignment - which he has yet to grade. he messes up ALOT and makes mistakes and will not listen to anybody elses opinion or what you have to say, and he LIES!!!!!

he HATES our generation, technology and personally i feel like her dislikes females because he gets into a lot of disagreements with them. He believes he is never wrong. Chavda is simply a misunderstood creature. His humor is hit and miss; you just can't take it personally. He really does care about his students, you just have to address him with respect and be ready to work at a higher level. The fire in his eyes on the bad days is just love. Remember that. It makes all the difference.

Chavda is awful. I think people could only find him funny if they enjoy the degradation of other people. His comments are entirely inappropriate and he gets a shockingly large amount of joy from tricking/outsmarting/misleading his students. I would avoid at all costs. I have never had a problem with him. If you are prepared and articulate, you will have no problem either. It takes time to understand him, but once you do, he is actually quite funny. If you are not capable of handling pressure and don't take your classes seriously, then you are SOL. All of this is coming from a girl.

I had this man as an advisor. I came to UCF to major in Illustration, and he lied to me and told me that major was not offered. Why? Because I would have had to compete with his design students, due to a limited number of seats. He didn't want me to take a seat away from one of his students. Ruined my degree. Thanks, Chavda.
