Comment:

My favorite professor at Loyola. Such a cute man with his cane and hat. He's difficult, but I enjoyed the subject matter. Quizzes and Tests are hard but reasonable if you study. Sometimes his T/F and fill-ins are too difficult--Just tell him and he'll give you extra points. Love Dr. Ryu and I hope I have him again!

Such a sweetie! Genuinely cares for students, very passionate about sociology, such a wise man. Relies heavily on textbooks so make sure you read! His tests are difficult (especially the T/F), but he is generous when it comes to grading essays. I would definitely recommend his class, I truly enjoyed it and learned a great deal.

RYU is my favorite professor. He is such a sweetheart and truly looks out for his students. His main purpose is for us to find out who we are as humans through the guidance of his course. The choice of books are amazing too. Honestly, he is a great, genuine man. Just be ready for his tests!! They are detailed and the T/F are hard. ITS WORTH IT!! :)

Ryu is a really great guy and one of the nicest professors I have had so far. He is tough and asks a lot at points, but is very understanding and willing to work with you through whatever issue you might have. Only three exams, three quizzes and a term paper. Manageable. Not a hard B but takes a lot of work to get an A but its worth it

He is a very nice man but his tests are hard. He will give you an entire book to study for and then pick out the smallest piece of information that you wouldn't think was important and then make it an essay question worth 20 points. You never know what will be on the tests or quizzes. There are no take home tests!

Dr. Ryu is a nice man but a terrible teacher. He never sticks to the syllabus and even though it was a seminar class he spoke for almost the entire time, usually about topics not related to what we were learning. Very unclear about assignments. Tests and quizes are random. Very boring class. Avoid.

Jai-baby is awesome.He's so nice about extensions and listening to the students' imput.His tests are scary though.They are take home with six essays, though he gives you a week to do it.Somehow he scored a doctorate, though he speaks in broken English.
