He's great! Offered extra credit and if you didn't understand something he was always willing to explain it. Take his class and BeH it will work out! :)

If you fail the first test, just drop the course cuz theres only 2 tests and the final. He mumbles in class and is not understandable. He also uploads homeworks and writes the tests in his own handwriting which is the equivalent of writing in hieroglyphics. His lectures are super unorganized and he does not care whether or not you learn the subject

In my entire academic career I have never had the misfortune of encountering a teacher as terrible as this man. Avoid this teacher at all costs. It is not only bad that he mumbles in class and is incomprehensible for the most part but this man also insists on writing everything including HW's and testsbut his handwriting is that of a 3 year olds.

PROS- Lots of review for tests which are very similar to review worksheet. Not very tough grading CONS- UNORGANIZED LESSONS, LECTURES, BAD EXPLAINER, GRADE BY VERY FEW THINGS, VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND HIS TEACHINGS IN CLASS

By far one of the worst professors Ive ever had. His lectures are extremely unorganized, and it is almost impossible to read his handwriting/understand what he is saying. His homework is extremely long and the online textbook costs 100. If you mess up on the tests you do not have much room to improve your grade as there arent many tests.

Unorganized is an understatement. Good luck understanding him or his lectures. I don't understand how he is still getting paid to teach because that's the last thing he does. You'll learn more on youtube than wasting tuition money on this guy. Worst math professor I've ever had. Do Previous comment mentioned his hand writing, good luck reading it.

This professor is very disorganized in his lessons plan. His handwriting is terrible and expect students to bear with it. During lectures, he will explain a simple concept with harder concepts, which end up confusion for everybody even himself. He is willing to help everyone, but I won't take him again

Pros: He gives us a lot of practice exams. Cons: I never know what in the world he's saying in the lectures. Too fast paced. Advice: Go to the tutoring center at least 6 hours a week. Practice the exams twice. Towards finals week, don't learn anything new ONLY relearn what you already know (you'll waste time). You only need 60% to pass (I think).

At the start of the class, you may dislike him a lot, but he means well. It doesn't always come across that way though. His tests are SUPER hard (5-10 extra points if you do test reviews), and his reviews take many hours to do. He gave final review sessions on his own time to students to help the class pass. This class was in no way remotely easy.

He is a good professor , he goes over all the material that you need for the final and also the the calculator. The class is hard you need to give a lots of time his tests are hard and long but they will help you for the final.

Reich is disorganized and doesn't explain things very well. There are about 2 tests and a final, which is all he really grades you on. He curves, but not by much. If you're trying to learn and understand Intermediate Calc, I suggest you do NOT take Reich. He's a nice man and will allow you to stay hours late to finish a test, but it's not worth it.

lectures are the worst. you can barely understand what he is saying and for calc 3 it is difficult. review sheets are very similar to what the exam will be like, but it is very difficult. he does offer to go over the review sheet in class so use that opportunity to ask for help. would not take his class again. very hard and doesn't explain well

Worst professor, extremely unorganized as a math guy, bad at explaining. 50+ questions homework for each class, which his lectures don't cover much of the questions, and his exams are nothing like these homework. DON'T TAKE HIM.

This is no easy A, but what calc class is? You will have to work very hard and put in a lot of time. Pay attention in class and don't be afraid to ask questions! He will go over the question until you understand and is willing to stay after class. For the tests- just study the review sheet and know it well, the test usually looks like it.

By far the worst professor I've had at Baruch. Doesn't care about his students, nor does he teach, it rather seems like he is using lecture time to brag about how well he knows math himself. There is no doubt that he is an intelligent man, very well-versed in Math, however it is to little help when he doesn't even attempt transfer that knowledge.

I learned more studying the practice finals and watching the solution videos. Prof. Reich is a very kind and intelligent man, but unfortunately he didn't teach in a manner that facilitated learning. Lessons are all over the place. Do not take if math is your weakest subject.

One shouldn't expect to have their hand held in math classes. He will not clearly teach the material, but most professors don't. This class contains too many concepts to learn in 3 months. If you have already learned calc 1 in h.s. then you will be prepared. If you plan on getting an A study a few months in advance.

At first I was scared but, he's not a bad professor, once you get passed the first test, you'll get to know how his tests are set up. He gives a review sheet and goes over every question before the test and that's basically what the test will be on. You really just have to study and be on top of your game. Plenty of curves on the tests.

Never at office hours. Unorganized. Confusing explanations. Doesn't know how to teach. He started a new lesson on READING DAY and had those questions on Final. Almost everyone was cheating on exams and I don't them blame them. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS

Laid back professor, however he is pretty unorganized. His tests are exactly like his reviews and I would advise you to do the review multiple times. His lectures help a little, sometimes he would go off tangent. You can't expect much from Baruch math professors.
