He was quite helpful and there was a lot chances to actually get extra credit. Mainly the time for the class sucked, but his notes are clear and he always gives you handouts that are exactly like his tests.

He's a very nice man, and he's always willing to meet his students half way. he's very unclear though, particularly about what he expects from his students. the exams are pretty straight fowards though, even though you'll always feel like you don't know anything before you take them.

He's a friendly guy, but he's getting old and some of his info is outdated. His lectures are long, vague, insubstantial, tedious, and repetitive. The Sapolsky book is good, but he never goes over it. The exams are difficult.

This professor is the absolute worst! His multiple choice tests are all riddled with trick questions. I guarantee that no matter how much you study, you will never get over a B- on his tests! He blames the large number of failures in his class on students

He's horrible! There are 5 exams (including a mandatory final) and thats it. No homework or anything to bring your grade up. The tests are hard, the class average is a C/CD and he refuses to scale.
